Okaaaay …. Well, this is properly f*cked up. I came up with the idea for this at the beginning of October and I’d planned to release it on Halloween night, but a few things got in the way (work, weather … apathy) and the time-line slipped. Ch-Ch-Chin Curtain
Ghaad dammmit …. I really like this HJC RPH-A+ helmet, but the chin curtain is a poor design. Every other change they made was a smart improvement and I’ll admit that the new chin curtain is better in concept than the one that came with the original RPH-A helmet, but in making it more secure by clipping it in place, they also inadvertently designed a solution that could break. They should have left it for a couple of hours with a 5yr old to see what would fall off. I replaced a few and at the point where I was considering ordering them in bulk to save…
