Weem rides the M25Poppy (2013)
What can I say …. It’s reeealy hard to make a ride on the motorway interesting…. but I tried.
This vlog is from the M25 Poppy (10th Nov 2013), J13 (Staines-Upon-Thames) to J23 (South mimms) JZ5G3GTMNX8Q
The ride was for bikers in and around London/ the SE England to come and pay their respects to our armed forces, both past and present, in a ride of solidarity (ooo – get me and the fancy words).
All we had to do was wear something red and join the motorway clockwise at 12:30.
We would be speed checked to that groups behind could catch up or we could catch groups we were following.
In all, about 20,000 bikers took part and the ring was complete 🙂
The furthest participant flew in from New York and hired a bike so they could take part … how cool is that?
About £10k in all was raised on the day for Armed Forces charities 😀

…great!…but it was ” £5 ” ….hmmmm – the last charity ride I went on was £5 per person, for the ‘Air Ambulance’, but my mate had brought his two young daughters, and a grumpy woman insisted she wanted £15 off him, or ”we couldn’t join the ride”…
