have been as fast and faster on a bike , but that was in a straight line. and was SHITTING myself over 180 MPH going straight ahead. can NOT imagine the size of these guys balls. special built gas tanks and leathers must be the only way. beyond epic . . . .

No, this stuff they’re using is all the latest state of the art moto equipment. Most of these bikes would cost in excess of $200,000.00 to duplicate. They are based on R1, GSX, etc. but that is where the similarity ends. And they have big team sponsorship and one whole week of testing/practice prior to the race. That means LOTS of parts, tires, adjustments, and fine tuning/tweaking to all parts of the bike. I’ve priced out some of these suspension parts from Ohlins. Way out of my league!

I give these guys all the credit in the world, there is a lot of skill involved going at these speeds. I get an adrenaline rush every time I watch this video. I have been in a car that has gone 260km/hr, ran out of road to see if it could go faster.I have been in some pretty good crashes, seat belt saved my life and I walked away from every crash. I would love to own a bike but I like speed too much, at least I get to be an armchair racer without the chance of killing myself.

First saw the Isle of Mann TT race covered in Cycle Guide magazine in 1970. It looked like a race like no other, something rare and beautiful, something crazy and deadly. This video brings it home, to race on the island is (in my humble opinion) the pinnacle of motorsport. No other venue even comes close! *Beep Beep* Retard detected. First of all, in gp they drive on a track, here you have the rare opportunity to crash 200mph head first into a tree or in a ditch. Second, everyone knows that these bikes will only do 200mph because of the massive balls of steel that weight the riders down. FACT.P.s. the fastest top speed in Moto GP is 349, do some research, don’t just turn out a moron.

Hmmm……I wonder. Death maybe?? :-)Those guys make that decision every time they get on a bike. They know the risks, they’re great riders, extremely skillful too. But this aint moto gp with huge gravel pits an flat surfaces to save you…..If they come off they are hitting all sorts..Trees, telephone poles, walls, kerbs…..take ur pick!

Yep I couldn’t agree more………Love bikes. Always have…big, small, fast an slow….nothing like two wheels and the open road to make you feel alive.I used top watch the road races in N Ireland. Me an my mates would go to them over the summer. Problem is, when they finished, we would end up wringing the life out of our 600s, Blackbirds, or 9Rs….Dangerous but what a buzz…..I have the greatest respect for these guys… They are true gladiators in the real sense…ultimate heroes!
