The brotherhood of bikers
One of the things that’s great about being a biker is that we often ride alone, but we’re all part of something much bigger.
Hog, Scooter, Sportsbike…. It doesn’t matter what you ride.
I’ve never experienced anything that bonds us to complete strangers like being part of the biking fraternity.
The backstory:
This poor lad it trying to learn the knowledge so he can become a cabbie. He was stranded about 25 miles away from home on an unlit stretch of road between Staines Upon Thames and Ashford when his bike broke down.

You the man! This is why I love riding! I’m subbing!

It would have been tough justice to have had anything for that after what you did… if your letters are within range then your min plate size should be approx 240mm x 160mm.. think that’s about 10×6.5inc depending on how many 1’s you have… probably just small margins.
WeeemRCB
Cheers Dan 🙂
WeeemRCB
Yup That was one reason I had my hazards on all the time as his scooter didn’t have them(?)The police moved us down past the barrier later on and then threatened me with a £60 numberplate fine before buggering off (it’s only about 8×6)…. which was nice of them :o/
WeeemRCB
Yea man. Thanks for adding the like too – appreciated
WeeemRCB
We were all learners at one time …. except Casey Stoner who came out sideways with his knee and elbow down 😉 🙂
joejoeclamp
what a nice guy you are 🙂 nice to see theres still people like you out there mate, wish you coulda brought me a cuppa when i was stranded on rivington pike when my throttle cable snapped lol :pone thing i have noticed tho is that most people on sportbikes would have just rode on after seeing the l plates from my experiances :-/ seems like some people think there’s a pecking order according to how much your bike cost or how fast they go
Witness2282
I don’t generally “like” many videos..but I had to “like” this one. Well done man! I’ve done the same thing for a couple of bikers that I’ve seen stranded on the side of the road. It’s what being a biker is all about…its a brotherhood.
Motorbike vlogger
Your a soft sod! Hat off to you… most would have just ridden past let alone go back three times. Respect.Day job coming out now… if ya find yourself in that situation again or even on your own; I’d be pushing the bike to the end the barrier I could see on the N/S and off and away from the carriageway completely. Being just off the main drag like that still isn’t safe. You’d be surprised what people manage to ‘not’ see and drive into.
RSJohny
Sub’d. Just for this video you have my unquestionable respect sir.
dan gleeballs
This is what riding I all about a nod here and there maybe a lil convo at the lights lol and as you know 98% of bikers would be like this lol coz there is nobs out there on bikes too as a fellow biker I know lol 😉 watch smiling all the way thew top vid 😀

Respect. I recently ran out of fuel on dual carriage way and on looking down to fuel tap the lever had dissapeared. Had to break out tool kit pliers to change to reserve:D while doing that some nice man pulled up behind with hazzards on his car, whipped out a petrol drum and filled bike up then left.. lol some really awesome people like you out there, not just bikers aswell.
Danish Looter
who would dislike this vid?? great job mate 🙂
TheRizzix
I believe the same thing bud. Sadly though, the biking community is becoming saturated by selfishness. Some people don’t even nod anymore. We have an epidemic on our hands!
tangatron34
Weeem you my friend are a legend!! The stator in my Gsxr gave up the ghost last week, I spent 2, 1/2 hrs sat in the 30*c direct sun heat, waiting for a pick up truck, out of the hundreds of bikes that passed no one stopped, out of the thousands of cars 1 driver pulled over and offered a cold drink! Faith in humanity restored!
Vracktal

Nice 🙂 It seems he didn’t have any breakdown cover as he was not sure which recovery company to call.. I bet it cost him arm and leg to have it towed. I would guess at least 300 quid.
