Sick FireWeem

Ma wee boy is sick 🙁

After a long winter of constant riding, the FireWeem is knackered
Tyres are shot … chain is fooked … suspention tired …. and the motor is rattling 🙁

But – it’s going in for a service next week and all those bits will be fixed.
He’ll come out like one of Liberace’s turds after he ate a tub of glitter. (ok, not like that, but he’ll be as good as new 🙂 )

Wow! Proper shopping list…cartridge internals too. Will it be a harder ride overall? I’ll help you square off the new Pirellis by riding really slowly to Loomies on a hot day 😀 Been considering a Fireblade as a commuter but now you’ve scared me a bit :/

Get better soon! Tires are my own personal nightmare… with a 240 section on the rocket just the rear tire alone costs 400 bucks.

Yayyyy…a new FireWeeem…..but please do not buy the road pilot 4’s..the 3’s are deffo better….reason: after 2000 miles the cornering gets harder and it is vital to this tyre…i had 3’s on last year and was happy….until London ‘screwed’ me and i had to buy battlax tyres….they did behave the same like the 4’s (sad face)…see ya matey

I have diablo corsa’s on my Fazer 1000, they were superb in the wet. But typical Honda CCT, failing at 22k, my Fazer has done 63k on its original :)Ride safe buddy

I’ve heard good things about wilbers suspension 🙂 Considered getting a rear shock for my 125 to upgrade the handling but it’s adjustable so that can wait! Although I do have to spend a fair amount of ££££ to get a frame powder coated, engine rebuilt, electrics sorted and a biggish service done on my 500 :/ Fireweem should feel fresh after that service 😀

could you wear be coused by the cold? the tread in the middle are harder then the sides and the compound is very different then on the sides, maybe salt is gettting to them!!

Good call on getting PR3’s. I went for PR4’s when I needed tires last time and they just don’t feel as grippy over on the edges, even in the dry. I’m certainly going back to 3’s next set.
