RedRenna: RedRennaRides a Honda Fireblade CBR1000rr (2010 model) Ft. WeeemRCB
March 20, 2015/
Just my thoughts while in the saddle of a beautiful Repsol fireblade. Loadsa fun! But I don’t think she is the bike for me at the moment :0 Oh and I have a new bike now! You will get to meet her in the next video!
Has anyone told you how pleasant your voice is? Well, you have a pleasant voice ;)It really seems like you belong on a 600rr. If it wasn’t for Triumph, I’d be on a CBR myself. Go for it!
I heard the fireblade rides like a normal bike below 6K rpm above which its second set of fuel injectors kick-in which gives the extra oomph at higher revs. Hence the feeling that its sad at slow speeds but happy when going fast. Something to think about if doing a lot of cornering between 5k and above RPMs.
Glad the brakes work. Hahaha. Awesome review! Since I ride an R1 I’m a bit partial to having that “extra poke” but ragging a 600 can be just as fun. Ragging a 1000 is just bonkers! Hahahaha
Have a test ride on a Triumph Speed Triple 1050! all the power and talk you could ever need! comfy! Cool! Stylish! and with or without Arrow cans it sounds Beautiful! However there isn’t much (any) wind protection, but that helps you keep within the speed limits… not that I’m bias at all…
I think there is truth in that saying about riding a slow bike fast. A lot of the joy I get from riding the bike is making the bike work, going through the revs and the gears, while staying somewhat near the speed limits and not instantly losing your license when you twist the throttle, even in first gear.the 600-ish cc sport bikes seem to be perfect for that! If only there was a BMW S600RR :(..
Wow! you weren’t messing about testing bikes for fun, the channel, or for curiosity of what you would buy in the future. This was some serious shit! that passenger foot peg looks a lot like mine. RR
It was fun having a front row seat of the RedRenna car rage :Dp.s. The fuel light comes on at 125-140miles and you can get the bike to reset the trip meter automatically when you fill up 😉
For me i ride a 500cc twin & my own personal experience its much better to ride smaller engine faster than bigger slower, 70+mph is same on a 70bhp motorcycle to a 200bhp, torque is oftern overlooked, that is the key for me a V twin more torque compared to inline 4 engine where you have to rev nuts off to get it going, a V Twin instant torque, have friends who ride litre bikes go no more quicker than me never get to use about 70hp

Love it how your debating whether a 600 has too little power. Wish I could be on a 400 or something similar! 😀 Damn 125’s :'(

got to love a fireblade… For me I much prefer getting more out of a slower bike:-)
