In March 2013 i rode solo from London to Barcelona. This was my first ever attempt at touring, there were some hard times (leaving London in the snow!) and some things i will never forget.
The series will be release one section at a time soon on YouTube.

Actually, its just an aero hump. It helps the air flow over the helmet and down the back. It also holds a drinks thingy like a camel pack.I do wear a back protecter under the leathers though.

It’s a neck/back protector. Two reasons for it.. 1) to protect the upper spine when sliding along the ground and 2) to prevent your head from violently snapping back and breaking your neck.

I’ve watched this video at least a dozen times and I still get goosebumps every time. I can’t wait for the full series. If you want to release it on DVD I would be willing to pay 10-15€ for a hard copy.

I know it’s just a teaser and all, but that’s probably my favourite video you’ve done — got me to subscribe goddamnit — great angles, great sounds, great editing.It also fills me with a sense of nostalgia and some regret; very happy memories of touring Europe and much silliness on sprotsbikes. Hey Baron. Watched your vids for a while now (ride on!) and when I saw this one I saw some of the same roads I used when I went down to Barca! Didn’t manage to get any of the same roads in my vid but made a similar montage (of lesser quality to yours because of my noob editing skills). Wondered if you’d check it out and see what you think?
