Miggs7170: Why I Ride A Motorcycle

I often get asked why I ride. Most times I’m not able to articulate the reasoning, so I thought it was about time I figured it out. Done in more of a music video style, I fancy myself a better writer than speaker, so I hope you don’t mind a bit of a monologue. Let me know if you enjoy it.

I love your video. It feels like it hit me in the sternum. I don’t get out on my bike very often. I rarely ride, actually. Recently, I even thought about selling it, but you’ve motivated me to get out there and do what I love doing. Thank you.

Ha. Well so far almost 4,000 people have seen it. Maybe a cager watched and decided to check his mirrors and act a little less aggressive towards motorcycles. If I helped even one person understand why we do what we do, it was well worth the effort. Thanks for watching.

I ride motorcycles because it’s special and we have a community among us motorcyclist. I don’t care if your gay, straight, female, male, old, young, democrat, socialist, communist or whatever. If you are riding a motorcycle, I will greet you on the road.
