I have more respect for motorcyclists of your type than most other people: Courteous, friendly, respectful, enthusiastic but responsible. When I think motorcyclist, I think of people like you. Further, helping others like in this video gains a lot of respect from me.Certainly lots more than I do for that woman who just walked by. Admittedly, she probably didn’t even notice.

I have to say I’m pretty surprised by this video. Growing up, it was a daily occurrence to be reminded that bikers do not care. If you fall down on the sidewalk while there is a biker nearby, you’ll just have to wait until someone else helps you up because bikers do not care. And don’t get me started on cyclists! But with videos like this, you can start to unravel the commonly held notion that bikers do not care.

Most of the people wouldn’t have helped him. You’d be surprised how many people don’t give aid to the ones in need of help when there are others around. Like in this video, where the first woman just ran away. It’s called “the bystander effect.” Look it up.
