Baron goes back to skool to learn how to wheelie with the boys at Learn 2 Wheelie based at the Top Gear test track.

It took me a while but I did get it up eventually – story of my life…

Hopefully you guys will understand the technique as i tried to leave some of the tuition in the video – the best way of learning is to do a course with these guys though. Safe, and you wont lose your licence.

Awesome! I hope they have something like this in Norway as well, would be a lot of fun! I’m way to scared of tipping backwards. Even though I have done a couple of “wheelies”. Almost tipped backwards on a 85cc once, that’s where the hesitation comes from 😛

the first time i rode a quad i accidentally popped a wheelie because i was shit at letting out the clutch. now i do it every time i start, cuz it’s the shit.

Brilliant! was this all in 1st gear? I had a go on a quiet road one time in second cause I was bricking it and thought it would fly up in first and leave my arse on the road as the bike powers off into the distance. Needless to say, I still can’t wheelie.

Where did you ever see one power wheelie, because I always saw him using the clutch as well as conversing with the instructor before getting on both machines in the beginning on how to use the clutch. How many times where you dropped on your head when you were younger as well?

trundle along then whack the throttle open, it will lift easy, start small, then increase height and distance, i ride a WR so its a bit different, but i find it wheelies better in 2nd and 3rd as 1st gear is a bit short
