The brotherhood of bikers
One of the things that’s great about being a biker is that we often ride alone, but we’re all part of something much bigger.
Hog, Scooter, Sportsbike…. It doesn’t matter what you ride.
I’ve never experienced anything that bonds us to complete strangers like being part of the biking fraternity.
The backstory:
This poor lad it trying to learn the knowledge so he can become a cabbie. He was stranded about 25 miles away from home on an unlit stretch of road between Staines Upon Thames and Ashford when his bike broke down.

You are AWESOME for doing this!

A shame that many bikers have lost this. I always stop to see if I can help. I’ve been stranded and for those couple of hours you feel very alone. For car drivers its different as they can sit in the box out of the elements, bikers are not so lucky. Top marks!

Now don’t get me wrong by saying this but I don’t think anyone is really noticing the fact that your subscribers count is increasing dramatically (which is deserved) I think more people should look at the fact that, as far as I have looked anyways, no one has trolled/hated/raged or spoke abusively about this video and that is just amazing to say it’s on the damn internet. You sir are a very kind man and an awesome dude! This is one of the reasons why I want a bike more than a car. Not because of the stereotypes (cooler, picks ups girls, badass) but because of this. The bond between bikers is so unreal it’s like you guys are already friends just by nodding as you pass each other. I saw one of your replies to a comment someone had poster stating “”I think the thing about cars is that the box around them isolates them from their surroundings is more than physical. Their chair becomes the sofa and the windscreen becomes a surrogate TV where they merely observe what they see and not interact””. <- This right here is what I completely agree with. Anyways, after spending countless minutes trying to find a way to put this all... You are a legend and this video should go on the news as it's not only a brotherhood between bikers but a heart for other people as well. As you just came coming back to him and didn't just leave him there. You should be a role model to many.

Absolutely love this video! To stop in the first place to check on him is admirable, but to keep going back and forth with tools and TEA?! You’re simply awesome dude 🙂 You’ve got yourself another subscriber 🙂 I must admit, the camaraderie that bikers have with each other is highly appealing – and despite the obvious dangers of biking I think I’d rather become a biker than a car driver. Car drivers seem to be more self-centered.

Top Top bloke! Good on you!
Marjoleine Goedhart
Wow. I enjoyed your video. I’m a starting biker (6 weeks licence, 5 weeks on a 1995 Transalp) from Amsterdam, The Neterlands. One of my worst nightmares is that I’m stranded in the middle of nowhere, like this guy.I played this tape twice, with a big smile and a warm heart. Driving home, get some stuff and ride back to ‘m. Than make him a cup of tea, stop at a patrollstation to buy (?) a cup….It’s my example of being a human being…. Thank you!
TooPro1
Now we need more people in this world like you.

Elliott Duke
Great stuff! When my bike gave out 50 miles from home, in the rain, with very little phone battery and in my first week riding, a guy pulled over to help, told me he lived just down the way and told me to push my bike over, he tried to fix it, bought me tea, let me stay in his house and use his phone until the recovery van came 3 hours later. Really nice spirit and I hope to pass it on one day.
MR G
Sounds like the drive belt has snapped. Mopeds are just like harleys they run on a rubber belt like motorcycle with chains. so yeah sounds like that 🙂
Daniel Lambert
You’re cool. If I see you on the 308 I’ll try and toot you. I pretty much drive down in between the reservoirs and past the cricketbillet how ever you spell it. Although I do find that BP quite expensive.

I’ve I had a weeem around when my SV650S decided to give up on me 40miles from home, I’d have been more level headed I think ( Thank god I got rid of that thing, it caught on fire the first day I had it, should have taken heed of that sign. ) Anyhow, got me a ZX-6R, hasn’t missed a beat, besides being 13 years old. So, good on ya weem!
