The forecast of the weekend was rain rain rain.But Friday night had the promise of a dry sky until 4am…….. the weather service was wrong 🙁 You can see how restless and mildly tormented I am in this mini vlog.After a long week at work I saw gagging to go out for the ride to clear my head. The current contract I’m working on ends in a couple of weeks and I haven’t had any holiday this year.There’s a couple of things that are a must do/experience before I die and I have the time after work ends to do it. But should I hang on to my money instead…

A group of vloggers from oop north came down for a mini-meetup early August. My GoPro only recorded the second leg (UTFS) from Finchingfield Essex round to …. wherever (I dunno – I was just following in line). I got about 20 minutes and had given up blabbering at this point (ice-cream does that to me). So just a flyby of those attending and some stoopid pish to go with it 🙂   End clip from: SimplePingu

Finally my trip ended and I had to come home 🙁 I start off in the small fishing village of Peel before heading around to Douglas to catch my ferry home.

After lots of straight-line miles up and down motorways and A roads to meets and to and from work … my tyres were knackered. They weren’t bald (getting there), but they’d squared enough to make the front feel floaty when tipping into corners and so new boots were needed. So, I popped down to Steve Jordan Motorcycles to have them fitted, but on the way I thought I’d give my old Bridgestone BT-016’s a Viking send-off 🙂 And yea – I stalled it 😀 It was due to rain later, so I had my big winter gloves on for the first time this year.
