Squidding and DMax Karting at Daytona Sandown
So the hot weather is with us and everyone is stripping off …… Unfortunately so a lot of bikers which is risky considering the gopping idiots that we share the roads with.
I swap my boots with trainers before heading over to the Daytona Karting Track in the middle of Sandown Race Track in Esher where I jump into a DMax 2-stroke kart (speedy) for a 25 minute session with a couple of mates.
It was a fast session and I don’t think I lapped anyone, but I still walked away with the fastest lap of the day 😉 🙂
A few people commented that they can see my name on the results sheet.
My name’s actually been in a few of my vlogs. It’s on my keyring – but no-one’s spotted it before now 😉

when you put the timing sheet up and you match your best time with everyone else in that list it shows your full name. did you know that?also there are not the average go kart, there are a lot faster.

I remember the last time I went go karting the first and foremost thing I remember was the absolute aching I had in my legs xD I’m 6 foot 3 and the karts are the size of a hot wheels at my nearest track, meaning I had to keep my legs well bent and up on the throttle and brake the entire time 😛 The things we do for speed 😀

Nice one mate, just remembered the last time i did that with my own helmet…..afterwards it was full of tiny rubber parts..:( they came through the vents. But it was as much fun as you had. cheers mate for the karting view

Wow Weeem, impressive driving! You have skill! Nice vid, thx for sharing. I really love karting too, unfortunately, here in Hungary, there are “paykarts” (?! like in this video), which only have 3 wheels on the ground, 1 is in the air… Those are very slow as well, and the tracks are lame, there are only few exciting ones 🙁
