Do some research, there are people on YouTube that make 6 digits a year. There is plenty of money to be made. It’s definitely a good idea to monetize and get an Adsense account. Requires no extra work and you could make a few quid. Just food for thought..

You get to make custom thumbnails with monetization really handy because it can incourage viewers to watch your videos. You can also choose which adverts pop up with it too so it can e just a bar or one you can skip at the start. Should give it a try dude, you can always cancel it later. Oh and by the way love your videos, im thinking if learning to ride a motorbike in the summer, cant wait!!
