While the northern American States are experiencing freezing windchill down to -40C, we in the UK have been rained on …. to the point of flooding.
But the clouds cleared long enough that I could take a wee jaunt out on the bike up to Windsor and Bray, home of the Fat Duck (once rated the 2nd best restaurant in the world)
I also chat about a new mic setup where I’ve started using a WindCut Winscreen to improve my audio
If you hear that bit then I hope you agree ๐

Good vlog. Subbed.
Ah ok
Very similar to our floods from the Fox river where I live. Same 100 year old homes get flooded year after year near the river edge.I got a lot of business fixing up those houses for the last five years I worked for myself.
I live in bucks did you just stay near Windsor ?
That bloody duck actually made me jump! I need to man up ๐
It’s changed a lot from this, rode down the exact rode you have and it seems to have gone down alot. I must have seen you about because I seem to go the exact same routes around similar times!
lol @ the Rape Fields…
lovely edit at the end ๐
Hey man, looks nice round that way. Cool vid too. Thanks
what bike do you ride?
Roll on summer I say!
Oh man ya editing just gets better n better… I remember as a kid the Thames flooding in Twickenham almost up to the main road. That would have been in the 70s… eek!
Its not just the BBC that sensationalist mate. We get plenty (if not more) of that shit here from our own media. You haven’t tried putting your mike in the cheek pad? Mine works out nicely that way.
Great Video Weeem, Bloody hell them poor F@ckers living around there, as though it’s not bad enough that they’ve got floods, they have to put up with people blocking the roads having a look to see how bad it is, Your okay doing it of coarse! as your our eyes as the youtube press, lol, RSMF.
Ohh yeah… Who’s ‘ur daddy….I fell off my chair at that part
what does the fire bucket on the head, the chalk on the chin bar and the red scarf symbolise?
bit of a faff just to get parked lol, 5hours is some ride for this time of year!
For once Scotland seems “dry”
crikey, i knew the country was flooded but didn’t realise how bad it was in some placesโฆwent to the Hinds Head when we were back visiting in August, was fantastic, and there was a DB5 parked outside too, smelled so good when it started up haha.
I used to work in The Crown. Cracking little pub. I’ll be sure not to ride up to runnymede anytime soon.
Good video and nice intro ๐
Say “bottom”.The fat fish.
Nice intro/outro! That van did well to get through waist high water.
